Dinner parties have fallen out of fashion and thank goodness for that. My one-bedroom apartment isn’t conducive to hosting a mob of guests and I am not too keen on spending hours prepping food that will leave a trail of destruction in my tight kitchen. My curated wine collection and well-appointed bar cart are reserved for my closest comrades to imbibe and not for that friend-of-a-friend that showed up unannounced and empty handed. Personally, I prefer something more casual and less labor intensive to gather my friends around. I’m talking about bottle shares and takeout food.
